Vision Benefits of America and Shamir Fund Pandemic Relief for Independent Optometric Practices in Pennsylvania

Vision Benefits of America, Inc. (VBA) has formed a partnership with Shamir to create the VBA/Shamir Pandemic Assistance Program.

SAN DIEGO, Calif. — Shamir has formed a partnership with Vision Benefits of America, Inc. (VBA), a commercial group benefits organization, to create the VBA/Shamir Pandemic Assistance Program. The program is designed to assist in-network eyecare professionals who have “endured more complicated operations over the past year,” according to a statement from Shamir. VBA and Shamir will distribute $150,000 in pandemic relief funds to those currently participating in the Shamir RCPV (ReCreating Perfect Vision (RCPV) Rewards Program) program, as well as to ECPs who have not yet enrolled in the RCPV program, Shamir said.

“Eyecare professionals that are part of the VBA/Shamir Pandemic Assistance Program already understand the value of Shamir lens designs,” said Raanan Naftalovich, CEO and president of Shamir North America. “Through Shamir’s ReCreating Perfect Vision Rewards Program, eyecare professionals are further acknowledged for dispensing Shamir. VBA and Shamir are contributing relief funds to help further progress ECPs practices, when qualifying criteria are met through RCPV. We are very excited about this collaborative program.”
