Neighbors Helping Neighbors

diaper driveVBA is proud to be part of the South Hills community, and it’s important to us that we help take care of our neighbors. With September 28 being National Good Neighbor day, we felt it was the perfect opportunity to take action.

Throughout September, VBA collected diapers to be donated to the three food pantries operated by South Hills Interfaith Movement (SHIM). A group of VBA employees had volunteered at one of SHIM’s food pantries in June, and learned of the need for diaper donations.

We were thrilled with the generosity of our employees, as well as our business associates Print Tech and Appraisal Nation, as we collected a total of 12,500 diapers and a donation of $1,000.

We are incredibly grateful to all who contributed in making our diaper drive a huge success. For more information on SHIM, or how you can help, visit: www.shimcares.org.
